March 17, 2006
-- University of MN Fieldhouse --
7pm to 12am

Every year, 600,000 - 800,000 men, women and children are trafficked across international borders (14,500 - 17,500 into the U.S.). Approximately 80 percent are women and girls and up to 50 percent are minors.

What can you do about it?

Join us at Race for Rights on Friday, March 17th at the University Fieldhouse from 6:30pm-12:00am. We will be raising awareness and money for the Vietnamese Alliance to Combat Trafficking. Race for Rights is a student run event open to everyone in hopes to create an understanding of and activism for Vietnamese victims and for human trafficking.

Who can do it?

Everyone is welcome to participate individually or with a team of all ages and sizes. Please download and sign a waiver (pdf file) if you’re under 18 and your parent(s)/guardian(s) will not be present.
