| March 17, 2006 -- University of MN Fieldhouse -- 7pm to 12am |
Every year, 600,000 - 800,000 men, women and children are trafficked across international borders (14,500 - 17,500 into the U.S.). Approximately 80 percent are women and girls and up to 50 percent are minors. |
What can you do about it? |
Join us at Race for Rights on Friday, March 17th at the University Fieldhouse from 6:30pm-12:00am. We will be raising awareness and money for the Vietnamese Alliance to Combat Trafficking. Race for Rights is a student run event open to everyone in hopes to create an understanding of and activism for Vietnamese victims and for human trafficking. |
